HONEY POT LANE - Walney Island

This is one of those roads that is hard to pin point an exact location in relation to it's 'original' position, this is due to the fact that as the various locations of the land fill sites over the years have shifted, so has Honey Pot Lane. Today the lane runs parallel with Cross Lane, which is approximately 100 meters to the north.

c1990 Honey Pot Lane was to run across the island similar to the way in which it does today, only approximately 100 meters further to the south, at which point the most recent land fill sites boundary lay.
